A few of my favorite things in life besides my family and amazing friends are triathlons, watermelons, my infamous green smoothie, and enjoying the sun on my face, while being outside in this beautiful world that God created.

Hi! I’m Kami.

I am so happy you found Team Elevate – Kami Banks Coaching. Whether you found me from my podcast, from other moms, or by some other amazing way, congratulations on being here.

It’s my mission to connect with other busy moms who want to elevate their lives.

In my 20’s, after graduating from Utah State with a degree in Exercise Science, I wasn’t comfortable in my own skin. I was really big in the exercise department, but I hadn’t really figured out the food part.

That experience sent me seeking to learn more about using nutrition to make myself healthy from the inside out. I now know that food is one of the biggest components for feeling comfortable in my own body.

I married a wonderful man, and had 4 children while he trained to be a doctor and a flight surgeon for the Navy. It has been an adventure living in so many areas and raising my kids in many different places.

As the years unfolded, through being a personal trainer, running a wellness center, coaching soccer, triathlon, and running clubs, and studying as a raw food chef under my own mom, I knew that my heart was passionate about health and becoming healthy with movement and food. I loved what I was learning, but I felt like something was missing.

I had started triathlon journey in 1999, with a goal to go to the Ironman World Championship. It took 20 years – and much needed life experience – before I qualified. At the time, in June of 1999, my mom (and my biggest mentor) was living with a diagnosis of ALS. By the time I competed in October of that year, she had passed away.

As I picked up the piece of my broken heart, I knew that I had a both a story and a legacy to live out while I still have the opportunity.

It was 2020, while I healed from the loss of my mom, that the missing piece was discovered, and the pie became whole.

It was this year that I found life coaching, and became certified as a life coach. I then began to embody all the concepts and tools my mom and many other coaches had taught me, now with the life coaching lens as well as with my own perspective and life experiences.

By 2021, I knew there was a need for a team to help support all the determined, talented, and busy moms working on changing their lifestyle, with the support of like-minded women.

Today, inside Team Elevate, we now have an amazing group of moms who want to move and fuel their bodies and minds in a way that will elevate their lives, and have a ripple effect into the lives of those they love.

It is my gift to be associated with so many women, and rise to new heights together.
